Case Study 6: Utility Reinstatements

This repair was made to a utility ironwork surround in May 2008 for a water company in lane 1 of a dual carriageway which passes through a heavy industrial area . The contractor was interested to see whether Viafix could work as well as hot-mix is such a heavily trafficked carriageway. The third picture, taken four years later in May 2012 shows the contractor’s question was resolutely answered.
